Loch Lomond & Trossachs Your Park - Response & Outcome
Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park (LLTNP) recently held a consultation on proposed increased camping provision and new byelaws in the Park.
The SSA wrote to express a number of concerns and to formally object and request an inquiry into the recent Your Park consultation and resultant proposals, submitted to the Minister - Dr Aileen McLeod MSP - on 18th May 2015 by LLTNP.
On behalf of our Outdoor Pursuits Group (OPG) members, we are very disappointed that the Scottish Government has decided to approve camping byelaws over large areas of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. A full press release can be found below giving more detail on the decision made.
