Jillian Merchant - Co-Vice-Chair
Jillian Merchant is a Partner with Thompsons Solicitors, specialising in employment, equalities law and professional regulation. Jillian is a strong advocate of equalities and is a regular contributor for broadcast and print media. Jillian is a fully qualified highland dancing teacher and has a background as a competitive highland dancer.
Jillian holds a number of other voluntary roles, including as Chair of Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis Centre and as Vice-Chair of Abortion Rights. Jillian is a fully qualified highland dancing teacher with a background in competitive sport. Jillian loves sport and is keen to use her experiences to help to ensure that others can enjoy the benefits of sport.
